The 12th International Symposium of Ethical Literary Criticism Held in WuhanThe 12th International Symposium on Ethical Literary Criticism was held at Central China Normal University from July 7th to 9th, 2023, with an aim to review the development of ELC’s theoretical framework and discourse system, explore the forefront topics and prospects in interdisciplinary research, and further promote the international dissemination of Chinese-characteristic literary criticism. The 20-year development and international transmission of ELC not only allows the world to have a better understanding of 'China in academia,' 'China in theory,' and 'China in philosophy and social sciences,' but also widely disseminates contemporary Chinese discourse, effectively facilitating academic exchanges globally. The Symposium is a summary of a period of forging ahead, pioneering innovation, conveying the voice of China, and addressing real-world problems.
