The 11th International Symposium of Ethical Literary Criticism Held in GuangzhouThe 11th International Symposium on Ethical Literary Criticism was held at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies on November 5th and 6th. Centered around Ethical Literary Criticism (ELC) and interdisciplinary research, both domestic and foreign scholars participating in this symposium aimed to explore new studies and methods for constructing the theoretical framework of ELC in the new era. Professor Nie Zhenzhao pointed out that with the rapid development of science, humanities research is evolving into scientific research. ELC should be integrated with other disciplines to enable scholars to study literature and address research-related challenges from a scientific perspective. The conference encouraged scholars to contribute to the advancement of ELC, breaking down barriers between ELC and various disciplines, enriching its theoretical foundations, and expanding the scope of ELC research in the future.
