Sandplay Therapy on the Personality Development in Cleft Lip Palate School Age Children

Abstract:

Objective: To access  the effects of sandplay therapy on the development of personality behavior in school age patients with cleft lip and palate. Methods: 40 school age patients  diagnosed with cleft lip and palate in our hospital from June 2016 to September 2017 were selected and divided into two groups randomly. The control group took routine psychological care. The experimental group was given the postoperative sandplay therapy on 1 day of admission and at 1-, 6-month after surgery. Differences in personality behavior through the Eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ) (children's volume) were compared. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05). After the intervention at 1 month and 6 months after surgery, the experimental group about the score of E scale was significantly higher than control group, and positive personality was emerging (P<0.05); the score of N scale was significantly lower than that of the control group, and emotion tended to be stable(P<0.05). Conclusion: The sandplay therapy can improve the characteristics of school age patients with cleft lip and palate in perioperative period  and stabilize their mood.

摘要:

目的:探讨箱庭疗法对学龄期唇腭裂手术患儿个性行为发展的影响效果。方法:选择2016-062017-09期间来我院诊断为唇腭裂的学龄期手术患儿40例,按照随机数字表法分为观察组和对照组,每组各20例。对照组采取常规心理护理,观察组在对照组的基础上分别于入院第1天、术后1个月和术后6个月给予箱庭疗法干预。采用艾森克个性问卷(EPQ)(儿童卷)于入院第1天、术后1个月、6个月进行测评,比较两组唇腭裂患儿干预前后的个性行为差异。结果:干预前,两组患儿EPQ量表评分差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。干预后1个月、6个月,观察组E量表评分明显高于对照组,个性积极好转;N量表评分明显低于对照组,情绪趋于稳定,差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组P量表、L量表评分干预前后无明显变化,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:箱庭疗法可改善学龄期唇腭裂手术患儿性格内倾问题,稳定其情绪。
