Statement on Fund Review by the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery(CH)

To uphold academic integrity and prevent misconduct, the Editorial Office of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery hereby issues the following statement on fund review.

(1) Submission of fund certification materials: When submitting a manuscript, authors must provide fund certification materials, including but not limited to the official approval document issued by the fund management agency or the project initiation notice. Such materials must clearly present key information including the fund name, project number, funding institution, project leader, funding amount, funding period, and the research content of the fund.

(2) Content of fund review: ① Verify whether the fund name and project number stated in the manuscript are consistent with those in the fund certification materials; ② Verify whether the project leader or participant is an author of this manuscript; ③ Verify whether the submission date falls within the funding period; ④ Verify whether the research content of the fund is relevant to the content of the manuscript.

(3) Handling principles: If the author fails to provide fund certification materials, or if the fund certification materials indicate that the project leader or participant is not an author of this manuscript, or that the submission date exceeds the funding period, or that the research content of the fund is irrelevant to the content of the manuscript, the author will be advised to remove the fund. This ensures that all articles published in this journal are based on authentic and relevant fund support.
