Abstract:
Objective: To discuss the clinical value of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in diagnosis of submandibular gland and Wharton’s duct sialoliths. Methods: 9 patients who have had tumefaction of submandibular gland were examined and analyzed by axial plane, coronal section, vertical plane and three-dimensional reconstruction imaging of CBCT. Results: 4 cases of salivary calculi located at Wharton’s duct. 4 cases occurred in the junction of submandibular gland and duct. Only one salivary stone located in the submandibular gland proper. One sialolith discharged spontaneously before operation. The operation findings of 8 patients showed conformity with CBCT examination. Conclusion: CBCT can provide direct guidance for clinical treatment of submandibular gland and/or Wharton’s duct salivary stones.

摘要: 目的:探讨锥形束CT(CBCT)对颌下腺结石的临床诊断价值。方法:利用CBCT的影像诊断系统对9例颌下腺肿大患者的下颌下区进行轴面、冠状面、矢状面及三维重建影像检查,同时进行测量分析。结果:8例患者经手术治疗后确定的结石大小、位置,与CBCT检查结果一致,1例术前自行排石。结论:CBCT对颌下腺结石有较高的诊断价值,能确定结石的数目、大小并定位,准确性高,为临床手术治疗提供直接依据。
