Abstract:

With the rapid development of digital technologies, the virtual dental patient (VDP) has emerged as a novel digital tool for diagnosis and treatment, demonstrating great potential in oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, orthodontics, and orthognathic surgery. By integrating multimodal patient data, VDP provides digital support for multidisciplinary team (MDT) in esthetic prosthodontic rehabilitation, full-mouth occlusal reconstruction, esthetic implant therapy, and orthognathic-orthodontic treatment, thereby enabling more precise and personalized clinical workflows. This review summarizes the current applications and recent research advances of VDP in oral MDT, with the aim of providing new insights into the development of digital dentistry and the optimization of clinical diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

摘要：

随着数字化技术的快速发展，虚拟牙科患者（virtual dental patient，VDP）作为一种新兴的数字化诊疗工具，已在口腔颌面外科、口腔修复、口腔种植、口腔正畸正颌等多个领域展现出巨大潜力。VDP通过整合患者多模态数据，为口腔美学修复、全口咬合重建、口腔美学种植及正颌正畸等多学科诊疗（multidisciplinary team，MDT）提供了数字化支持，实现了诊疗流程的精准化与个体化。本文对VDP在口腔MDT中的应用与其研究进展进行了综述，以期为数字化牙科技术的发展和临床诊疗模式的优化提供新的见解和帮助。
