利用云计算面部检测技术评估正颌手术效果的初步研究

Primary study on cloud-computing technology based face examination for evaluation the efficacy of orthognathic surgery

摘要: 目的:利用云计算面部检测技术对接受正颌手术的患者进行术前术后面部多角度照片判读对比,评估该技术应用于临床的可行性。方法:选取92例患者正颌手术前后面部不同角度的照片共920张,导入云计算面部检测平台,获得每张照片中人像的面部识别年龄和面部吸引力数据,采用SPSS 25.0软件包,用配对t检验分析术前、术后检测数据间的差异。结果:患者术后面部识别年龄与真实年龄的差值总体显著减小(P<0.05),术后面部吸引力较术前总体明显增大(P<0.05),其中总体女性患者术后面部改善更显著(P<0.05);骨性Ⅲ类错患者接受正颌手术治疗可以获得更显著的疗效(P<0.05);接受双颌手术联合其他术式的患者会得到更加显著的面部改善(P<0.05)。结论:该研究表明云计算面部检测技术可以用于衡量患者在正颌手术前后面部识别年龄和面部吸引力的变化,未来可能成为评价正颌手术效果的一种客观技术,但仍需进一步改进完善。

Abstract: Objective: We compared the preoperative and postoperative photos of patients undergone orthognathic surgery using cloud-computing technology in order to explore the feasibility of clinical application of this technology. Methods: We uploaded pre- and post-operation photographs (n=920) of 92 orthognathic patients to the face examination system based on cloud-computing technology. The estimated facial age and facial attractiveness of the portraits in each photo were collected and analyzed statistically. Differences between preoperative and postoperative photos were analyzed by paired t-test using SPSS 25.0 software package. Results: The difference between postoperative estimated facial age and real age was significantly reduced (P<0.05). Postoperative facial appearance was more attractive than preoperative facial appearance significantly (P<0.05). The facial improvements of female patients after operation were greater (P<0.05). Patients with Class III malocclusion obtained better curative effect after orthognathic surgery (P<0.05). Patients receiving double-jaws surgery combined with other surgical procedures, got more significant facial improvements (P<0.05). Conclusion: The study shows that the face examination based on cloud-computing technology can be used to measure the changes of patients' estimated facial age and facial attractiveness before and after orthognathic surgery. This technology can evaluate the effect of orthognathic surgery objectively in the future, but it still requires some improvements.
