Study on Static Osteogenesis of nFA/PEEK in Early Loading

早期负重载荷下nFA/PEEK种植体周成骨情况研究

Abstract: Objective: To study static osteogenesis by nano-fluorapatite polyetheretherketone (nFA/PEEK) implant materials in the condition of early loading. Methods: Each 10 of nFA/PEEK, PEEK, and Ti implants were installed in mandible premolar area of 10 beagle dogs, and the resin crowns was applied after 2-months healing. Each 5 dogs were randomly sacrificed at the end of 3 and 6 months respectively. Implants and their undecalcified bone tissues were cut for Micro-CT examination. Hard tissue slices were performed and stained by methylene blue-acid fuchsin. Results: All implants were found to have some extent of osseointegration. Some new bones were developed into threads of screw in nFA/PEEK implants, where osteoblasts and regular new bone structure were found. Bone mineral density(BMD) and trabecular thickness (Tb.Th) of nFA/PEEK and Ti were significantly higher than that of PEEK at 3--month (P<0.05). BMD, Tb.Th and number of trabecular bone (Tb.N) of nFA/PEEK and Ti were significantly higher than that of PEEK (P<0.05) at 6- month. Trabecular spacing (Tb.Sp) of nFA/PEEK and Ti were significantly lower than that of PEEK (P<0.05). BMD and Tb.N of nFA/PEEK and Ti at 6- month were significantly higher than that at 3- month (P<0.05). Conclusion: The nFA/PEEK dental implant shows excellent static osteogenesis.

摘要: 目的:探索早期负重载荷下纳米氟磷灰石聚醚醚酮(nFA/PEEK)成骨性能。方法:将nFA/PEEK、聚醚醚酮(PEEK)和商业钛柱状种植体各10枚,植入10只比格犬下颌前磨牙拔牙区,2个月后行冠修复,行使咀嚼3个月末和6个月末随机处死获种植体骨标本,行显微CT扫描测定骨静态参数,切片行亚甲基蓝?鄄酸性品红染色观察骨结合。结果:种植体均获得良好的骨结合,切片显示部分牙槽骨深入nFA/PEEK种植体螺纹内,且见成熟骨细胞样细胞和排列规则的新生骨小梁。3个月末nFA/PEEK和钛种植体周围骨密度(BMD)和骨小梁厚度(Tb.Th)均显著高于PEEK组(P<0.05)。6个月末nFA/PEEK和钛种植体的BMD、Tb.Th和骨小梁数量(Tb.N)均显著高于PEEK组(P<0.05)。nFA/PEEK和钛种植体周围骨小梁间隔(Tb.Sp)均显著低于PEEK组(P<0.05)。6个月末nFA/PEEK、钛的BMD和Tb.N均显著高于3个月末(P<0.05)。结论:nFA/PEEK种植体具有与钛相当的静态成骨性能。
