The Use of Decision Tree Flowchart in Stomatology Education

摘要: 目的:探讨将决策树流程图模式应用于口腔临床教学的可行性。方法:2010-08—2012-12期间,对进入牙周科轮转的20名住院医师,临床理论教学采用了决策树流程图方法。以某一临床问题为目标, 引导学生通过列举出与这一目标问题的相关分类、不同的临床情况以及所有相应治疗方式的适应证和禁忌证,从而构建出决策树模型。结果:在这一教学模式中学生可以充分发挥积极性,将多个知识点进行归类、梳理和归纳,调动了发散思维和逻辑思维,获得学生好评,取得了满意的教学效果。结论:利用决策树流程图进行教学,可以使口腔临床教学更加积极有效。

Abstract: Objective:To investigate feasibility of the decision tree flowchart model applying into the clinical teaching of stomatology. Methods: First, a clinical problem of a patient was selected as the target.  Then the students were ordered to list all the different possible conditions of the clinical problem or its classifications, and list the indications / contraindications of each treatment method. Finally, a decision tree flowchart was established after the completion of the tasks above. Results: This teaching mode gave full play to the initiative and enthusiasm of the students, which also helped them to classify and summarize the knowledge and developed their logical thinking. It was welcomed and very satisfying for most students. Conclusion: It's more active and effective in dentistry clinical teaching with the help of the decision tree flowchart modal.
