Abstract: Objective: To  discuss the postoperative drainage methods after maxillary cyst operation. Methods: 69 patients with maxillary cysts underwent enucleation were retrospectively reviewed. Patients were assigned into two groups in accordance with cystic wound closure. Group 1 (n=25), cystic cavity was packed with iodoform gauze strip through the opening beneath the inferior turbinate. Group 2(n=44),  cystic wound was left empty and closed by suture with  pressure bandage.  Results:  Group 1, cystic fistula was observed in one case(4%). Group 2, two cystic fistulas complicated in cases whose cyst was smaller than 3.5mm(2/30,6.7%), four fistulas were  seen in cases whose cyst was larger than 3.5 mm(4/14,28.6%). Conclusion: Simple tight intraoral wound suture plus facial compressive bandage may be advisable for the maxillary cyst with diameter less than 3.5 cm; while filling drainage with iodoform gauze strip may be needed for the maxillary cyst with diameter larger  than 3.5 cm.

摘要：  目的：通过比较分析69例上颌骨囊肿( cystic lesion)临床病例，探讨上颌骨囊肿术后合理的引流方式。方法：收集2006-2010年上颌骨囊肿病例69例，对比分析术后创口单纯严密缝合加面部加压包扎，和严密缝合加碘仿纱条填塞引流2种术式的疗效。结果：只采用单纯严密缝合切口加面部加压包扎的44例中，其囊肿长径在3.5cm以下的30例，有2例出现窦道，占6.7%；而长径在3.5cm以上的14例中，4例出现窦道或创口裂开（28.6%）。采用碘仿纱条填塞引流的25病例（直径>3.5 cm）中，仅1例出现窦道，占4% 。结论：上颌骨囊肿直径在3.5cm以下者，术后可采用单纯口内切口严密缝合加面部加压包扎，超过3.5cm者则需碘仿纱条填塞引流。
