Recent advances in the role of autophagy in bone metabolism

摘要:

骨代谢的平衡取决于成骨细胞骨形成和破骨细胞骨吸收之间的平衡,而这一平衡被打破会导致一系列骨代谢紊乱相关疾病。最近的证据表明,自噬可能在调节成骨细胞和破骨细胞的增殖、分化和凋亡等方面发挥着重要作用。本文回顾了自噬在调节成骨细胞和破骨细胞功能中的相关研究。

Abstract:

The balance of bone metabolism depends on the balance between bone formation by osteoblasts and bone resorption by osteoclasts. The disruption of this balance has been shown to have a direct contribution to the onset of bone metabolic disorders. Recent evidence suggests that autophagy may play an important role in regulating the proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of osteoblasts and osteoclasts. This article reviews the relevant researches on autophagy in regulating the functions of osteoblasts and osteoclasts.
