下颌骨发育性缺损7例影像学分析

Radiographic features of Stafne bone cavity: Analysis of 7 cases

摘要:

目的:回顾性分析下颌骨发育性缺损(Stafne bone cavity,SBC)患者的临床影像学资料,评价其骨缺损特点。方法:回顾我院2017年1月—2020年6月的 7例SBC病例,对其影像学资料进行分析。结果:7例SBC患者中男性6例,女性1例;均为单侧发生,4例位于右侧,3例位于左侧;7例均发生于下颌骨舌侧,其中1例缺损区颊侧骨皮质穿通,2例缺损区域波及下颌神经管;所有患者均无自觉症状。结论:SBC好发于下颌角处,多无临床症状,不需要行手术治疗,但应警惕因下颌骨薄弱区骨量减少,存在病理性骨折的可能。

Abstract:

Objective: The radiographic features of patients with Stafne bone cavity(SBC) were retrospectively analyzed for evaluating the characteristics of bone defects. Methods: Radiographic data of 7 cases from January 2017 to June 2020 in our hospital were retrospectively selected and analyzed in this study. Results: Among 7 SBC cases, 6 cases occurred in male patients and 1 case occurred in female patient, unilaterally with 4 in the right mandible and 3 in the left mandible. All 7 cases occurred on the lingual side of the mandible. One case suffered with perforation of the buccal cortex in the defect area, and two cases suffered with mandibular cannal involved in the defect area. All patients had no symptoms. Conclusion: Most cases of SBC located at the mandibular angle, mostly asymptomatic, and did not require surgical treatment, but more attention should be paid on the possibility of pathological fracture due to the bone loss in weak area of mandible.
