Epigenetic Regulation in Dental-derived Stem Cell: a Progress Review

摘要: 牙源性干细胞是组织工程中重要的研究目标,其生物学功能受到多方面调控。表观遗传调控是指,在DNA中遗传物质不改变的情况下,基因的表达发生改变。这种基因表达的调控方式就称为表观遗传学调控。表观遗传调控影响广泛的生物学过程,包括胚胎发育、骨稳态、干细胞命运以及疾病进展等。现有的研究表明牙源性干细胞同样受到表观遗传修饰的调控。本文对近年来牙源性干细胞表观遗传调控机制的研究进展作一综述。

Abstract: Dental-derived stem cell is important target in tissue engineering, which is regulated by various mechanisms. Epigenetic regulation refers to changes in the expression of genes rather than in genetical materials, and widely occurs in embryogenesis, bone homeostasis, stem cell fate and disease progression. Here, we reviewed the underlying mechanisms in epigenetic modifications, as well as the effect of epigenetic regulation in dental-derived stem cell.
