RT-PCR on the Diagnosis and Genotyping of Epidemic Parotitis Virus

RT-PCR在流行性腮腺炎病毒的检测和分型中的应用

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate and develop a RT-PCR technique for the mumps virus diagnosis and genotyping. Methods: Our study contained 89 suspected mumps cases and 6 wild type MuV genotypes. Results: 0.001 TCID50 of mumps virus were able to be detected. 28 of these patients showed positive results, of which 27 (96.4%) showed mumps RNA, while only 8 (28.6%) had mumps IgM. Genotypes G1, G2, H1, H2, D1 and C were identified in positive samples. Conclusion: This technique may  be a very useful tool for mumps management and control.

摘要: 目的: 评估RT?鄄PCR在流行性腮腺炎病毒检测及分型中的作用。方法:应用流行性腮腺炎病毒抗体检测及RT-PCR对89例流行性腮腺炎病例进行基因检测,比较其阳性率,同时对6种野生型MuV基因型进行研究。结果:其中28例检测为阳性结果,RT?鄄PCR可以检测出0.001 TCID50的流行性腮腺炎病毒, 27例(96.4%)可以检测到腮腺炎病毒的RNA,仅仅8例(28.6%)在血清中检测到腮腺炎IgM。在阳性标本中可以检测出G1、G2、H1、H2、D1和C等基因型。结论:RT-PCR技术在流行性腮腺炎的诊治中有一定参考价值。
