Students’ Perception of Dental Implantology in a Case-Based Learning Curriculum

摘要: 目的:探讨“以病例为引导”的教学法(CBL)在口腔种植学教学中的应用效果及其可行性。方法:以临床真实病例为模板,通过筛选和整理后进行合理编排,案例中包含理论授课知识点及相关学科的基础知识,教师引导学生针对案例进行充分讨论,培养和锻炼学生发现问题、分析问题和解决问题的能力。结果:93%的学生认为学习潜力得到了激发,提高了学习积极性。89%的学生认为通过病例分析和讨论,加深了对理论知识点的理解。结论:CBL教学法促进了课堂教学效果,有助于学生做到理论联系实际。

Abstract: Objective:  To discuss the effects of case-based learning (CBL) in dental implantology education. Methods: The teacher organized and prepared the CBL cases before class by reference to the clinical cases. The content of each case should include relevant theoretical knowledges and other related basic sciences. Students discussed the CBL case freely in class guided by the teacher. Results: 93% students thought that their study potential and learning interest were improved. 89% students could deepen their understanding of knowledge points. Conclusion: The teaching effects in class were improved through CBL teaching mode, it is helpful for students to integrate the theory with clinical practice.
