摘要： 目的：研究老年无牙颌佩戴全口义齿患者埋伏智齿感染发病的临床特性，与佩戴义齿的关联，诊断要点及治疗效果，以提高该疾病的诊断率。方法：6年间对68例无牙颌埋伏智齿感染患者的临床病例进行深入分析归纳。结果：老年无牙颌佩戴义齿患者智齿感染临床症状表现多样，病程较长，久不愈，容易被临床医生误诊和忽视。结论：老年无牙颌患者在行全口义齿修复前应该全面检查，尽早拔除埋伏智齿，杜绝后患。

Abstract: Objective: To explore the clinical signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and therapeutic outcomes of the dental infection with embedded wisdom teeth in aged complete denture  patients. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 68 cases within a period of 6 years. Results: Infections of embedded teeth showed diversity in symptoms and signs, with a comparative long duration, and prolonged healing. These factors might lead to misdiagnosis. Conclusion: The aged edentulous patients dental infection may be caused by embedded teeth. It is advised to extract the embedded teeth as soon as possible before complete denture prosthesis.
